I agree with Marisa, the second one pops a little bit more! I am so glad you are trying out different ways to convert your black and whites. I know it took me a long time to feel comfortable with mine. I always struggled with having too much gray instead of my blacks black and my whites white. Great job!!

I love the second one so much better! I've never tried the pin light. I'll have to look for that one. Nicely done! The extra contrast really helps the second photo pop.

Thanks for the lovely post lori...you are such a great photographer! I am NOT photogenic, but even on a windy, very cold, and BAD hair day...I must admit that I don't look so terrible in these pictures....again I want to personally thank you and your husband and of course Lori Wells Photography for being so generous during this Holiday Season and helping out those who are less fortunate than we are....you are a wonderful person and I so enjoyed getting to spend a brief moment with you and even getting my picture taken! May the lord bless you and your family this holiday season and for the upcoming New Year!
